Offered is an incredibly rare "small-hole" pressing of Elvis Presley's 1956 EP Elvis Volume 1 (EPA-992). Based on the matrix numbers, “G2WH-7209-2S A RCA / G2WH-7210-2S A RCA 1,” the offered disc emanates from the Rockaway pressing plant output in late 1956. What makes it so unusual and distinct (even perhaps unique, by actual definition) is the record's “solid center.” Normally 45s have the large hole stamped out, but the offered disc, at this writing the ONLY KNOWN EXAMPLE, has the small hole normally seen only on LPs of the era. Perhaps it was a production error, we may never know, regardless it is one of the most interesting variations of an RCA Elvis record. The record is accompanied by a generic red and yellow RCA VICTOR period sleeve. The record measures 7 inches (17.78 cm) in diameter and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The record presents scuffing and very minimal label wear. There may by color touch ups near the center section of the label. VG condition
