1975 saw Elvis with three engagements in Las Vegas: February through April, August, and December for his Holiday Jubilee. Elvis was also on the road for three tours this year with the first, a two-week tour, starting April 24 in Georgia and ending on May 7 in Tennessee. This was followed by the second 12-day tour starting in Alabama on May 30 and finishing June 10 in Memphis. The final road tour began on July 8 in Oklahoma and ended in Asheville, North Carolina on July 24. For this final 17-day tour, Elvis flew to Oklahoma City on July 8 for his first performance of the tour at the Myriad Convention Center Arena in Oklahoma City. Offered are six (6) color photographs depicting Elvis disembarking the plane after his arrival at Will Rodgers Airport. Elvis is wearing the jacket to his navy blue two-piece jumpsuit with the snake design at the shoulders, which he stopped wearing on stage in May of that year. Elvis is captured in these color photos, taken at very close proximity with a 35 mm camera, greeting a gathered group of fans and signing autographs. The reverse of the photos have the processing date of “JULY 75” stamped with Kodak logo. These great close-up photos of Elvis each measure 3 1/2 by 5 inches (8.89 x 12.7 cm) and the group is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.
The photos present with little to no wear. Near Mint condition.
