Trading cards have always been a popular collectible and typically feature sports, musicians, actors and entertainers. In 1956, just as Elvis began his meteoric rise to fame, Topps produced a bubble gum set featuring Elvis Presley. The success of this set spurred other trading card manufacturers to follow suit, either with sets dedicated to Elvis or cards within sets featuring Elvis. Offered is a prime sampling of some of these worldwide examples. Neatly housed in a binder, the complete and partial sets, or single cards, all share the trait of having Elvis as the main element. Sets may contain duplicates or missing cards and include:
1978 Boxcar Enterprises fact cards set (66 cards plus 2 sealed packs);

  • 1970 Dutch-issue Elvis trading cards (50 cards plus 1 wrapper);
  • 1950s UK black-and-white Elvis trading card No. 17 (1 card);
