Cloisonné is a technique for decorating metal objects with enamel being used in recent centuries. The practice has been employed for centuries to create beautiful works of art and decorative objects befitting royalty. What better place for a lovely cloisonné vase than the home of the king of rock 'n roll at Graceland. Offered is a lovely yellow ground cloisonné vase with metal rim and base that has a colorful swirled pattern surrounding larger flower and cross shapes. The vase was gifted by Elvis to his personal nurse Tish Henley. The lovely vase shows no markers marks, but comes with a lettter from Tish Henley that reads, in part, "Elvis gave me many of his own personal belongings as gifts while I was working for him and his family. Each of these gifts tell a story in the life of this incredible man. ITEM: A Yellow Cloisonne vase that was part of the décor of the pool room downstairs at Graceland. Tommy and I had it sitting out in our trailer behind Graceland and then later in our home in Memphis. It has been in my possession ever since." The beautiful yellow cloisonné vase measures 9 3/4 inches (24.76 cm) in height and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The vase presents with minimal wear, except for one small dent in the side. Excellent condition.
