This beautiful framed display presents the complete set of five of Elvis Presley’s Sun Records 45 RPM Singles, arranged around a copy of a 1950s signed promotional photo. With its “Sun” yellow matting surrounding the elements, the display arrests the vision. The records include: 1954 Sun 209 “That’s All Right/Blue Moon of Kentucky” (matrix 128-45 72); rare 1954 Sun 210 “Good Rockin’ Tonight/I Don’t Care If The Sun Don’t Shine” with Roy Brown’s name misspelled as Ray and no publishing house credits on U-131; 1955 Sun 215 “Milkcow Blues Boogie/You’re A Heartbreaker”; 1955 Sun 217 “Baby Let’s Play House/I’m Left, You’re Right, She’s Gone”; and 1955 Sun 223 “Mystery Train/I Forgot To Remember To Forget.”

The Sun 45s were pressed by Plastic Products, Inc of Memphis, Tennessee. The records have been professionally framed in a manner that has left them unsullied—they could easily be removed from the display unharmed. All but “Mystery Train” have the visible “push marks” to indicate pressings done locally in Memphis. By the time “Mystery Train” was released, Sam Phillips had acquired a new acetate machine whose records did not leave the tell-tale marks on the 45s. Collectors often seek to build this collection piece by piece, with “Milkcow Blues Boogie” being the most difficult to acquire, and now is your opportunity to obtain the entire collection together at once. Each record measures 7 inches (17.78 cm) in diameter. The display measures 32 1/2 by 23 1/2 inches (82.55 x 59.69 cm) and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The records are essentially permanently adhered to the display with glue, which has damaged the vinyl on the reverse of each. The records fronts present in very clean condition, with only moderate scuffing and scratches. The front labels all present in intact condition with bold, bright colors. Very Good condition overall.
