On October 26, 1976 as Elvis was embroiled in a feud with Red West, he took the stage at the University of Ohio in Dayton wearing the “Flame” jumpsuit for the second and last time on stage. Rabid fans purchased every single piece of merchandise that evening. Elvis sang his very first hit “That’s All Right” and closed with “Can’t Help Falling In Love With You.” The Dayton Daily News printed a review the next day that stated in part:

Altogether, 13,750 jammed into a frenzied state of spellbound anticipation. Loretta Badjo of Kettering sported a GI-green gown with eight Elvis iron-ons around the skirt and three official Elvis buttons pinned on the bodice. She had that determination in her eyes: if anyone was going to get a scarf when Elvis started handing them out, Loretta Badjo would. ... Out of the darkness came the opening strains of the “2001” theme and screams from the lower area seats near the portal. The entire audience leaned forward. There was magic in the air. And then he hit the spotlight. First the jet-black hair. Then the white collar, turned up. And then the body, attired in a white jumpsuit with an orange and gold sunburst on the back and front. It was all screams.

While Loretta Badjo ended up splitting a scarf with another fan, she did not go home empty-handed. Offered are six (6) photographs from this concert taken from the front row, as you could not get any closer. The images show an intimate view of Elvis singing and entertaining the fans with the passion and joie de vivre that only Elvis could deliver. The close-up images were snapped by the holder of the offered front row ticket stub who sat in Sec 11, Row 1, Seat 8—any closer and they would have been on stage! The ticket stub bears a handwritten notation at the top: “Last time I saw Elvis.” The photographs and ticket stub also come with a souvenir folio and souvenir button, a treasure trove of relics from that enchanting evening. Each photograph measures 5 by 3 1/2 inches (12.7 x 8.89 cm), the ticket measures 1 5/8 by 3 1/8 inches (4.12 x 7.93 cm), the souvenir folio measures 11 by 8 1/2 inches (27.94 x 21.59 cm), the button measures 3 1/4 inches (8.25 cm) in diameter and the grouping is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The ticket stub, with minor age discoloration, is in excellent condition overall; the button is in excellent condition; the souvenir folio has minor edge wear and is in excellent condition; and the images have minor discoloration from age with photo album adhesive remains on the reverse and are in excellent visual condition overall.
