Despite never traveling on tour outside the US (with the exception of Canada), Elvis was celebrated by fans around the globe. In an effort to keep fans informed on pertinent happenings in his life and career, the British fan magazine Elvis Monthly was born in 1960. Believed to be one of the best Elvis fan magazines ever published, this magazine reached an international readership in the many thousands and enjoyed international distribution for over 40 years. Offered is a collection of 55 issues of Elvis Monthly. Each issue contains many photos as well as articles about Elvis’ upcoming films and records, and many articles defending Elvis’ relevance during the British invasion years of the mid-1960s. The introduction by editor Albert Hand is usually signed “Elvisly yours.” Each magazine measures 7 by 4 5/8 inches (17.78 x 11.74 cm), and the group is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.
