Elvis began singing the Paul Anka song “My Way” in January of 1973 during his “Aloha from Hawaii” televised performance. Several weeks after his death in October 1977, Elvis’ live recording of “My Way” was released and achieved a higher position on the Billboard charts than Frank Sinatra’s rendition. The song was included on the Elvis in Concert soundtrack album that was released in October 1977 in conjunction with the television special of the same name. The album and special were recorded in June 1977 over two days at concerts in Omaha, Nebraska and Rapid City, South Dakota. The shows were recorded to be a television special but due to Elvis’ fragile health at the time, the TV special was not released until after Elvis passed as a tribute special. Elvis’ last concert was performed on June 26, 1977. The album, with over 30 tracks, was certified gold and platinum on October 14, 1977. Offered is a pair of record store advertisements that include a black-and-white poster for “My Way” that measures 10 by 28 inches (25.4 x 71.12 cm) and an Elvis in Concert ceiling hanger that measures 12 1/4 by 12 1/4 inches (31.11 x 31.11 cm). The ceiling hanger, identified by a hole punched at the top and bottom center, was designed to be strung together to hang several from the ceiling. The back of the full-color photo image of Elvis’ Elvis in Concert album cover ceiling hanger sports the black-and-white album cover artwork for John Denver’s I Want to Live LP which was released by RCA just a month after Elvis in Concert in November 1977. The pair of RCA record store promotions is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

Both posters present with little to no wear. Near Mint condition.
