The white “CBS Test Pressing” label on the first disc has the handwritten matrix number “XPRS-1366 1,” which is for side 1 of Elvis Presley's 1969 album From Elvis in Memphis. The second "CBS Test Pressing" label has "RCA" written over the CBS label, and has the handwritten catalog number "SF 8029B." The matrix number "XPRS-1367 1," which is for side 2 of From Elvis in Memphis, appears in the dead wax of the second disc. The album was released on June 17, 1969, in the United States, but the offered test pressings are most likely from the UK. In the 1960s and 1970s, "CBS Records" was a record label that distributed in the United Kingdom, Australia and New Zealand. The offered acetates' labels indicate they are most likely from overseas. The songs included are: “Wearin' that Love On Look,” “Only the Strong Survive,” “I'll Hold You in My Heart (Till I can Hold You In My Arms),” “Long Black Limousine,” “It Keeps Right on A-Hurtin',” and “I'm Movin' On.” The reverse has several tracks of test sounds. The discs each measure 12 inches (30.48 cm) in diameter and are accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.
Condition: VG+ with only minor defects. Playable condition.
