The offered record with 11 radio commercials was produced by United Artists to promote Elvis Presley's 1966 film Frankie and Johnny. The commercials come in three lengths, 60, 30 and 10 seconds, and the longest of ads dramatically recreates Elvis in the studio 10 years earlier singing “Heartbreak Hotel” to make the point that it's “ten years and 50 million record sales later.” Elvis then comes in singing the title track, “Frankie and Johnny;” the juxtaposition between the two songs is, shall we say, jarring, to say the least. These “Radio Spot” LPs are very tough to find, as most of them were not archived by radio stations, but simply destroyed after the film's run. The LP's reverse is blank. The disc measures 12 inches (30.48 cm) in diameter and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

Condition: NM with only the most minor defects. Playable condition.
