Original tickets from the Elvis’ Aloha from Hawaii concert are very sought-after. The tickets had no printed value because audience members were asked to donate any amount they could afford, and tickets sold out quickly. Ticket and concert merchandise sales raised $75,000 for the Kui Lee Cancer Fund in Hawaii. The concert was groundbreaking, making entertainment history with an audience believed to be one billion worldwide. The concert was broadcast via satellite on January 14, 1973, from the Honolulu International Center and aired in over 40 countries. It was the most expensive entertainment special of its time, coming in at a cost of $2.5 million. The concert did not air in the United States until April 4, 1973. Kui Lee was the golden singer/songwriter of Hawaii in the 1960s and the ticket features a full-color image of him and of Elvis on a Hawaiian sunset seascape background. This was one of the few tickets printed with an image of Elvis, adding to its desirability. Offered are a pair of ticket stubs for this historic concert that are as close as a fan could get: Sec 1, Row A, Seat 7 and Seat 8. Adding to the fact that they are right up front, they are also sequentially numbered, making this pair incredibly rare survivors! Each ticket measures 3 1/4 by 6 inches (8.25 x 15.24 cm) and the pair is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The tickets present with minor edge wear and small areas of tape residue on the front and back. Excellent condition.
