A fantastic glimpse into the jet-set life of the King, offered is a Form 122 aircraft log book page on yellow carbon copy paper dated “12/16/75” from the Lisa Marie. The aircraft log page reporting time is 09:00 and it lists the stations LAS and MEM, with specifics on takeoff-to-landing times and ramp-to-ramp times. The crew is listed as Captain David, First Officer Strauss, Flight Engineer Many and Flight Attendant Vonk. The log page comes with an affidavit signed by pilot Elwood David, that states in part, “I, Elwood David, was Elvis Presley’s personal pilot from August 1975 until Elvis passed away in 1977. Elvis’ plane was a Convair 880 that he christened the Lisa Marie. Elvis customized the inside of the passenger jet and used the plane for travel both on tours and personal jaunts. After Elvis passed away, I stayed with the plane and was the private pilot for the Presley family until Vernon Presley sold it in 1978.” It continues, “I do attest that the following is an original page from the flight logbook for the Lisa Marie, Elvis Presley’s private passenger jet. This particular log corresponds to a flight Elvis took from Las Vegas back home to Memphis on December 16, 1975 after completing his Las Vegas tour run.” In 1975 Elvis Presley purchased the Convair 880 jet airplane for $250,000 and lovingly named her the Lisa Marie after his daughter. Elvis spent an additional $800,000 to further customize the plane. The plane’s registration number was changed to N880 EP and he jokingly called her his Flying Graceland. The Lisa Marie was also nicknamed Hound Dog One by air traffic controllers and was used until his death on August 16, 1977. The log book page comes with a copy of the certificate of aircraft registration. The log book page contains a carbon copy signature of pilot Elwood David, measures 11 by 8 1/2 inches (27.94 x 21.59 cm) and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The log book page is in excellent condition exhibiting typical signs of wear and use including two minor tears to right edge, possibly from removal from log book.
