The concert simply known as “Aloha From Hawaii” was groundbreaking, making entertainment history with an audience believed to be one billion worldwide. The concert was broadcast via satellite on January 14, 1973, from the Honolulu International Center and aired in over 40 countries. It was the most expensive entertainment special of its time, coming in at a cost of $2.5 million. The concert did not air in the United States until April 4, 1973. The double album released by RCA of this celebrated concert contained 30 songs and was an immediate, massive hit, as Elvis sang every song with the passion and energy only the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll could produce. The album was released in February 1973 and reached number one on the Billboard charts shortly thereafter. This was only the second two-disc set of Elvis’ career and featured the live performance from the TV special while omitting five songs from the original broadcast. The album was certified Gold on February 13, 1973, and Platinum on May 20, 1988, by RIAA. Offered is a jukebox machine copy of the 45 RPM EP of Aloha From Hawaii along with the original jukebox song title strip insert sheet. In 1950 the Seeburg Corporation introduced the 45 RPM vinyl record to its coin-operated music-playing machine commonly known as the jukebox. As a result of the small size of the 45, they this became the most popular model. Jukeboxes saw their heyday in the 1940s, ‘50s and ‘60s in diners, dance halls, bars and gathering spots. The advent of the portable radio caused the decline of the jukebox, but some digital forms are still in use today. The Aloha From Hawaii 45 RPM jukebox example was released in May 1973 as RCA DTF0-2006 Aloha from Hawaii via Satellite (EP) and contained on Side 1 “Something / You Gave Me a Mountain / I Can’t Stop Loving You” and on Side 2 “My Way / What Now My Love / I’m So Lonesome I Could Cry.” The unusual jukebox song title strip by Sterling Title Strip Co, Inc. of Newark N.J. has eight (8) song title strips for this 45 RPM EP that are still attached in this single perforated sheet. A remarkable and timeless relic for any collection. The acetate measures 7 inches (17.78 cm) in diameter, the jukebox song title strip measures 6 1/4 by 6 inches (15.87 x 15.24 cm) and the set is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The acetate and jukebox song title strip are both in excellent condition overall.
