Still a relatively new home accessory, television sales were rapidly growing in the 1960s as more and more homes featured this latest technology. Elvis was not only enamored of technological gadgets, but he so adored watching television that he had a set in almost every room at Graceland. Offered is the original receipt from Scott Appliances dated Sept. 26, 1967 for a RT574 Magnavox Color TV purchased by Elvis for Graceland at a cost of $1,029.85. A large sum for the day, but worth every penny to Elvis. The receipt, numbered 4385, measures 6 1/2 by 5 3/4 inches (16.51 x 14.60 cm) and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The receipt presents with only minor toning and wrinkling from storage. Near Mint condition.
