While Elvis was serving in Germany in January 1959, he met a young German actress by the name of Vera Tschechowa. She was 18 years old at the time. She and Elvis did a photoshoot together for the March of Dimes. In March 1959, Elvis visited Munich and once again got together with Vera, with whom he attended the Moulin Rouge. The two were photographed together on multiple occasions, including being featured on the cover of a European magazine, all causing quite a stir in the tabloids. Offered are two medium-format color negatives capturing Vera in a blue turtleneck top and Elvis in uniform. These were likely shot at the same time as the cover image of the two on Funk Ilustreirte, a German publication. An additional medium-format color negative of Elvis, again in uniform and speaking with an unidentified female, is also included. One of the negatives of Vera and Elvis is stamped with “Ansco Safety Film” along the top edge. Two of the three (3) negatives featuring Elvis in his Army uniform measure 2 1/2 by 2 3/4 (6.35 x 6.98 cm) with one measuring 2 1/2 by 2 1/2 inches (6.35 x 6.35 cm). The trio is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The negatives are in excellent condition overall.
