For his last feature film, Change of Habit, Elvis plays Dr. John Carpenter in the story of a doctor opening a clinic in a low-income neighborhood with the assistance of three plain-clothed nuns, co-stars Mary Tyler Moore, Barbara McNair and Jane Elliot. Elvis recorded the soundtrack on March 5 and 6, 1969, at Decca Universal Studios. Four songs were recorded during those sessions, including the film’s title track, “Let’s Be Friends,” “Let Us Pray” and “Have A Happy.” The offered original Audiodisc recording acetate for “Let Us Pray” bears a plain white label with the handwritten notations “#02032 / MV5-8-2 / Let Us Pray / 33 1/3 Prod.” The reverse of the acetate has only the red Audiodisc markings. Change of Habit represented an effort to make a move into more dramatic roles for Elvis, but by the time of the film’s November 1969 release, Elvis had already embarked on the live performing that would define the rest of his career. The acetate measures 12 inches (30.48 cm) in diameter and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The acetate is in excellent condition with no major visible scratches to surface of playing side.
