“Don’t Cry Daddy” and “Rubberneckin’” were recorded at American Sound Studio in Memphis in January 1969. The single “Don’t Cry Daddy” (with “Rubberneckin” on side B) was originally written by Mac Davis and the 45 was released in 1969, reaching number six in the U.S. and number eight in the U.K. The single “Don’t Cry Daddy” earned a gold record award from RIAA on January 21, 1970. The offered 45 RPM acetate has a typed RCA Custom Records label that reads “Elvis Presley / 45 / Mono / Don’t Cry Daddy 2:43” on one side with blue ink handwritten notation of “Oct 1, 1969” at the top and “Elvis Presley / 45 / Mono / Rubber Neckin’ 2:10” on the other. The acetate measures 10 inches (25.4 cm) in diameter and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The record presents in playable condition with only minor scuffs and scratches. Excellent condition.
