1974 was another busy year for Elvis, as he starts the year performing a two-week engagement in Vegas before launching his first tour in March which spans almost the entire month. His next tour begins in May and ends with an engagement in Lake Tahoe. June finds him back on the road through July where his final show is in Salt Lake City. He is back in Vegas once again in August before his following road tour starts at the end of September and continues through October where the 15-day tour ends on October 9th. Elvis performs his last eight days of shows for the year back in Lake Tahoe immediately afterward. Based on reviews of “The Elvis Presley Show” it is more than obvious that wherever he went, the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll still reigned supreme in the hearts of fans. Offered is a 35 mm contact sheet containing eleven (11) images of Elvis backstage at a 1974 concert. All but two of the black-and-white images feature Elvis in his 1974 American Eagle jumpsuit. Interestingly, one of the two images that do not contain Elvis in the shot is of a hotel that was briefly owned by Pacific Southwest Airlines (PSA) during its attempt to create a fly-drive-stay network of airlines, rental cards and hotels. The venture was unsuccessful and lasted only until circa 1975. The images were taken by a photographer that worked extensively in the entertainment industry in Los Angeles, and other examples of press photos by this photographer are always located in Los Angeles. Between the photographer being LA-based and the jumpsuit Elvis is pictured wearing, these images can be dated to May 11 in Los Angeles. Elvis wore this jumpsuit only on several other occasions that year, which included June 11 in Baton Rouge, June 23 in Philadelphia, June 25 in Columbus, June 29 in Kansas City, August 22 in Las Vegas and October 13 in Lake Tahoe. In the images, Elvis is surrounded by members of his entourage including Joe Esposito, Red West, Jerry Schilling and Vernon Presley as well as a few other unidentified men. The contact sheet measures 10 by 8 inches (25.4 x 20.32 cm) and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The contact sheet presents with moderate wear from handling. Excellent condition.
