Elvis began his fifth tour of 1976 at Freedom Hall in Louisville, Kentucky and performed in Virginia, New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts and North Carolina before returning home to Memphis on Friday, August 6. Reviews of this tour are critical, as Elvis himself is not in the best state. Of the more than a dozen concerts on this tour, his performance at Veterans Memorial Coliseum in New Haven, Connecticut on Friday, July 30, 1976 is considered to be one of the better shows. Elvis is in good humor, appearing in his Bicentennial suit. FTD released a live-recorded version of this concert entitled New Haven ’76 in 2009. Offered are fourteen (14) color snapshots taken during this show. The photos each measure 3 1/2 by 5 inches (8.89 x 12.7 cm) and the collection is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.
The photos present with few defects. Near Mint condition.
