During Elvis’ wildly successful and well attended performances in Las Vegas, the Colonel and RCA were keen to capitalize on any opportunity to advertise upcoming events, new record releases and anything relating to their main attraction. An ideal way to efficiently cross-market was to use concert advertising to promote Elvis’ musical catalog with RCA, and the offered banner does just that, encouraging concert attendees to “Hear Elvis on RCA Records & Tapes.” This exceptional example of concert marketing contains bold red and blue letters made of multiple colored circles that proclaim “Elvis” above a black-and-white depiction of a singing Elvis against a red and blue background. This bright, bold format was a popular marketing style in the early 1970s that grabbed the attention of the viewer, surely advantageous in the city of lights. The unusual heraldic-shaped banner contains upper corner grommets from which to hang the extraordinary promotion. The canvas banner, handsomely presented in a framed display measuring 46 by 31 inches (116.84 x 78.74 cm), is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The banner presents with moderate to heavy scuffing and minor ink loss. These banners are prone to this chipping wear. Excellent condition.
