The Elvis film Easy Come, Easy Go was released by Paramount in March 1967 and was the last movie that Hal Wallis produced for Elvis, who stars as Lieutenant Ted Jackson, a diver for sunken treasures in this musical comedy. The film, Elvis’ 23rd, reached number 50 on Variety’s box office hits for 1967 and grossed almost as much as was the budget for production. The soundtrack for the film included six songs that were recorded at the Paramount Studios in Hollywood in September of 1966: “Easy Come, Easy Go,” “The Love Machine,” “Yoga Is As Yoga Does,” “You Gotta Stop,” “Sing You Children,” and “I’ll Take Love.” The extended play single was released to coincide with the premiere of the movie in March 1967. Offered is a record store poster advertising RCA’s release of Elvis’ new EP for Easy Come, Easy Go that features the front and back covers set against a dark blue background. Despite the promotion, the soundtrack failed to make the Billboard charts. The poster measures 22 1/2 by 9 3/4 inches (57.15 x 24.76 cm) and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.
The poster presents with some wear and minor separations at the original factory folds and some minor scuffing. Excellent to Mint condition.
