Well into Elvis’ film career, he continued to do well with a formula that fans adored. Elvis’ 24th movie, Double Trouble, was based on a novel by English suspense writer Marc Brandel and the script, by Jo Heims, incorporated the popularity of discotheques and spy movies. Co-star Annette Day portrays heiress Jill Conway to Elvis’ Guy Lambert, an American singer in Europe who finds himself in an adventure filled with dames, diamonds, discos, and danger. MGM released this musical comedy directed by Norman Taurog in April 1967 and it achieved number 58 on the list of top-grossing films of the year. The offered colorful six-sheet features a large mirrored image of the star strumming his guitar in the center surrounded below by vignettes of the varied antics that make this film live up to the poster’s tag line for adventure. The poster measures approximately 81 by 81 inches (205.74 by 205.74 cm) when assembled, and is stored folded. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The poster, in several pieces as originally produced, presents with only minimal wear. Extremely clean NM condition.
