Released by MGM in November 1965, Harum Scarum was shot on the original Cecil B. DeMille set for The King of Kings. Elvis plays Johnny Tyrone, an American movie star who finds himself embroiled in all sorts of trouble while in the Middle East promoting his latest movie. Johnny is mistaken for a sheik and kidnapped, after which all sorts of calamities ensue. The film was released in Europe with the title Harem Holiday and the title Harum Scarum in the U.S. The film was the fortieth highest grossing film of 1965 and reached number 11 on the Variety box office charts. The offered large six-sheet poster blasts the Presley promotional message loud and clear as it proclaims, “In a rockin’ rollin’ swingin’ spoof!” The artwork of this six-sheet mirrors the one-sheet artwork, which features our hero twice, both in and out of his Arabian attire. The poster measures approximately 81 by 81 inches (205.74 by 205.74 cm), when assembled, and is stored folded. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The poster presents with some storage wear and toning on the reverse, but the front remains bright and bold. NM condition.
