Kissin’ Cousins was Elvis’ 14th movie, but as it was filmed after Viva Las Vegas, which went over budget, the Colonel tightened production time and finances. The film was released by MGM in the States in March 1964 and features Elvis in a double starring role: as dark-haired Air Force lieutenant Josh Morgan, and as his cousin, blond hillbilly Jodie Tatum. Kissin’ Cousins earned over $3 million at the box office and reached number 26 as the top-grossing film of 1964. The offered giant six-sheet poster perfectly expresses the flavor of the film with the folksy family portrait and the singing and swinging star in the forefront. The poster is not without the successful hallmarks of Elvis flicks, with scantily clad babes giving chase and appropriate tag lines like “Hey! Hey! Elvis and his Hillbilly kinfolks got the Junction jumpin with Joy!” The poster measures approximately 81 by 81 inches (205.74 by 205.74 cm), when assembled, and is stored folded. Accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The poster presents with few defects. NM condition.
