What could be better than Elvis for Christmas? Nothing, according to the offered cover slick record store promotion that recommends you add Elvis to your Christmas Gift List. The offered promotion is the actual printed piece that would have been adhered to a 1964 pressing for Elvis’ Christmas Album. It was common practice for RCA to set aside a number of these during printing to distribute to record stores and retailers to use as promotional posters. The slick lists all of the ten songs on both sides of the album including, “Santa Claus Is Back in Town,” “White Christmas,” “Silent Night,” “Blue Christmas” and more. The slick also features four black-and-white cover images of His Hand in Mine by Elvis, Elvis Sings Christmas Songs, Christmas with Elvis and Peace in the Valley with songs and catalog numbers listed for each. The reverse of the slick remains blank. Colonel Parker was always keeping Elvis fresh in the minds of fans, especially during the holidays with the help of RCA and its promotions and marketing. Cleverly, this slick served a dual purpose as advertising for the album on which it graced the back cover. A nice Christmas gift to ring in the season with the King. The slick measures 12 1/2 by 12 1/2 inches (31.75 x 31.75 cm) and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

There is a small area of wrinkling on the right edge, but otherwise the slick presents very clean. Excellent to Mint condition.
