The offered snapshot captures Elvis Presley during his meteoric rise to pop culture dominance, in 1957, backstage at a concert, probably just moments before he climbs on stage to wow thousands of young fans with his seminal brand of rock and roll. Elvis is wearing his iconic gold lamé jacket, which he wore during tours in 1957. He’s holding up a fan magazine, perhaps wondering why he’s being asked to autograph a magazine where he’s NOT on the cover! This is a wonderful glimpse into a magical time in Elvis’ legendary career. The photo measures 5 by 3 1/2 (12.7 x 8.89 cm) inches and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.
The photo presents with no major wear, save for one fold line at the upper left corner. Near Mint Condition.
