Fans loved seeing the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll in person and Elvis certainly gave his fans what they wanted. Elvis toured North America from 1954 though 1977, performing over 1,500 concerts in 41 states and 240 cities, many multiple times. While he never toured outside North America, his fan base reached around the globe. He was a true celebrity of epic proportions, so fans everywhere wanted to catch a glimpse or snap a photo of Elvis. The offered original color negative of Elvis on stage in 1956 features Elvis sporting a bow tie, singing and making hand gestures as he holds his guitar on which the tooled leather cover is almost visible. Different images from this performance exist confirming that the guitar has the cover. Early images of Elvis on stage, doing what he does best, are always coveted. This negative, with “Graphic House” printed along the side edge, measures 4 3/4 by 3 7/8 inches (12.06 x 9.84 cm) and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The negative is in excellent condition overall.
