Texaco was one of the oil companies dominating the scene in the mid-1940s to the 1970s. It was one of the few companies that sold gasoline under the same name in all fifty states, making it a nationally recognized brand. Texaco’s logo of a star within a circle was a reference to the big-oil-producing, Lone Star state of Texas. Offered is Elvis Presley’s own heavily used Texaco travel card. The white-and-gold credit card was issued to Elvis Presley and the front of the card pictures a car, boat and plane at the top—perfect for the rock star on the go. The back of the card is signed by Elvis. The plastic card, measuring 2 by 3 1/2 inches (5.08 x 8.89 cm), emanates from the 1999 Graceland Archives Auction (lot B58) and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The card exhibits evidence of use and is in Excellent condition overall.
