Along with his historic “Aloha in Hawaii” concert, Elvis’ performances at Madison Square Garden in New York City in June of 1972 are some of the most significant considering the importance of the venue, the success of the concerts and it being his first live performance in New York since the 1950s. Meant to be a three-day series, a fourth day was added by popular demand. RCA released the live recorded album Elvis: As Recorded at Madison Square Garden the same month and it achieved gold status just two months later in August 1972. Offered is a black vinyl fabric banner with 6 grommets printed with bold neon colors reading “Now Elvis Now / Hear Elvis on RCA Records and Tapes.” These banners were used at Madison Square Garden, as evidenced by many known photos. The banner has a bright pink image of Elvis on the left, and the letters of the word “Elvis” are filled with neon polka dots. This rare banner measures 24 by 82 1/2 inches (60.96 x 209.55 cm), is stored rolled and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The applied neon color is flaking from being rolled. Heavy vertical creases along the length, but overall in very good condition considering the fragile nature of the materials. Excellent condition.
