After more than a decade spent in Hollywood starring in over 30 movies on the big screen, Elvis returned to his roots performing concerts in front of live audiences. After his comeback TV special and his set engagements in Las Vegas, the 1970s ushered in a new era for the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll. Elvis and his crew toured the country, entertaining crowds of fans from coast to coast. The thrill of seeing Elvis in person had droves of fans flocking to his concerts and with so many clamoring to get a glimpse, it was essential to be able to quickly identify the tour team and crew. Backstage passes were instituted to do exactly that and often varied from tour to tour and venue to venue to prevent unauthorized access. The passes themselves varied in style from cloth and paper to ribbon types. Offered are a set of prime examples of the ribbon style used in the early 1970s. The group includes all four colors—yellow, green, purple and red—each in like-new condition with small gold safety pins affixed to the back. The ribbons each measure 6 by 2 inches (15.24 x 5.08 cm) and are accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The ribbons present with no defects. Near Mint to Mint condition.
