From the Family of Scotty Moore

In the 1960 television special known as Welcome Home Elvis (officially titled It’s Nice to Go Traveling), hosted by Frank Sinatra and sponsored by Timex, Elvis made his first television appearance since returning from his Army service in Germany. The show was taped on March 26, 1960 to air on May 12 on ABC (American Broadcasting Co.). Offered is Scotty Moore’s “American Broadcasting Co.” name tag as part of “Elvis Presley Band,” likely for this 1960 Frank Sinatra Timex ABC TV Special. The original paper name identification tag is typed and reads “AMERICAN BROADCASTING CO. / Scotty Moore / Elvis Presley Band.” It is housed in a pinback, plastic holder. The identification badge, measuring 2 by 3 inches (5.08 x 7.62 cm), emanates directly from the family of Scotty Moore and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.



The paper name tag is discolored from age and in Excellent condition overall.
