From the Estate of Scotty Moore

Scotty Moore was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2000 and as such an incredibly recognized talented guitarist, it is expected that he would be revered among his peers and contemporaries. Offered is a collection of signed memorabilia that perfectly exemplifies these relationships. Included in this collection is a hardbound book with slipcover by June Carter Cash that is inscribed on the interior front end page in blue ink, “To Scotty, Old friend from another time. Share a trip we had once again pages 125-129 - My love and prayers - June Carter Cash.” The pages June describes refer to the chapter entitled “Hope and Elvis Presley.” The inscribed book measures 8 3/4 by 6 3/4 by 1 inch (22.22 x 17.14 x 2.54 cm). Also included is a Les Paul signed, numbered and inscribed hardbound book with case entitled Les Paul: In His Own Words. The book is signed and numbered on the interior as 484 of only 1500 copies and also inscribed on the following title page, “To Scotty Moore - You da man!” by Russ Cochran (the book’s publisher) and “Scotty, Thank you for all you’ve done. Michael Cochran 6/9/05” (co-writer with Les Paul). The book measures 12 3/4 by 9 3/4 x 1 1/2 inches (32.38 x 24.76 x 3.81 cm) and comes with a signed color photo of Les Paul that measures 11 by 8 1/2 inches (27.94 x 21.59 cm). In addition this collection includes a hardbound book with case by Chet Atkins entitled Me and My Guitars numbered on the interior 484 of a limited 1200 copies and stamped “Chet Atkins” with “From the Personal Collection of” and in another ink “Scotty Moore” handwritten at the top. The book measures 12 1/2 by 9 1/2 by 1 inch (21.75 x 24.13 x 2.54 cm). The last piece of signed memorabilia from this personal collection is a vintage glass, unused “Carl Perkins Rockabilly Classic: 1986 Edition” Coke bottle signed in black marker “To Scott Your Friend Carl Perkins 92” which measures 9 3/4 inches (24.76 cm) in height. This incredible collection emanating directly from the estate of Scotty Moore is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.



The books are in excellent, like new condition and the Coke bottle is in excellent condition with only fading to the cap.
