From the Estate of Scotty Moore

In December of 1996, forty years after playing as Elvis’ sidemen, Scotty Moore and D.J. Fontana reunite to record All the King’s Men, a tribute to Elvis that embodies the spirit of the man. Playing new songs that they cleverly weave into the groove of classic rock ‘n’ roll rhythm, the duo pairs with a number of guest artists for several tracks. In addition, the two travel to Dublin, Ireland to Ron Wood’s Sandymount Studio to record the last track on All the King’s Men, entitled “Unsung Heroes,” with Wood, Jeff Beck and Ian Jennings. Offered is the 1998 Nashville Music Award presented to Scotty Moore for “Independent Album - Scotty Moore & DJ Fontana – ‘All the King’s Men’.” This sculptural metal and marble based award, emanating directly from the Estate of Scotty Moore, measures 13 1/8 by 5 1/4 by 8 inches (33.33 x 13.33 x 20.32 cm) and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The trophy presents with few defects. Near Mint condition.
