Fans around the globe watched as the singing phenomenon as he took the stage at the Honolulu International Center on January 14, 1973 for his groundbreaking “Elvis: Aloha from Hawaii Via Satellite” concert special. The famed show aired via satellite in over 40 countries in Europe and Asia (airing at a later date in the US). However, it was his three concerts over two days in Hawaii at the Honolulu International Center on Friday, November 17 and Saturday, November 18 that were originally planned as the worldwide satellite broadcast. Instead, the following Monday, Elvis held a press conference at the Hawaiian Village Hotel to announce the January 14, 1973 date for the special and that it would be a charity concert to benefit the Kui Lee Cancer Fund. Those three sold-out concerts that November saw over 26,000 fans excitedly cheering on their idol as he took the stage to what the Honolulu Advertiser described as thus: “When he hits that stage, there’s no denying. Elvis is a champ, the king of rock, a living American myth.” Given that the shows over this weekend were sold out, it is rare to see a fully intact ticket, much less a pair, and that is exactly the treasure being offered. This pair of full tickets is for the November 17, 1972 8:30 p.m. concert at Honolulu International Center for Sec 27, Row H, Seats 10 and 11. This pair of incredible surviving souvenirs also comes with a 1993 Elvis Presley first day cover that measures 3 3/4 by 6 1/2 inches (9.52 x 16.51 cm). The tickets each measure 1 1/2 by 3 1/2 inches (3.81 x 8.89 cm) and the pair is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The tickets are in excellent, like-new condition with one tiny circle of discoloration at the edge of ticket numbered 10. The first day cover is in very good condition.
