Colonel Parker had no shortage of ideas for advertising his star client and was open to trying every conceivable shape and size for Elvis tour promotional pieces. The offered large paper banner may represent the pinnacle of the form, with its large central image of Elvis wearing the Aqua Blue Vine jumpsuit in a more unusual heraldic shape. These posters adorned any blank surface in the hotel that the Colonel’s promotional staff saw fit to cover. The offered banner, an early version from the summer of 1975 as indicated by the printing in the upper left corner which reads “NOW SUMMER FESTIVAL 1975,” measures a massive 75 by 48 inches (190.5 x 121.92 cm). There were two smaller versions of this poster, with the same artwork and Hilton “H” logos but no other text, that were used in 1975 and 1976, the larger measuring 51 inches (129.54 cm) tall and the smaller measuring 36 1/2 inches (92.71 cm) tall. The offered banner dwarfs these pieces, in comparison, is stored rolled and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The poster exhibits numerous condition issues from use and most likely from storage. Small tears and areas of paper loss show up all along the edges, and the poster also presents with heavy wrinkling. However, the poster's colors remain bold and bright, and the piece could easily brought back to stunning presentation levels with minor restoration and linen backing. Very Good to Excellent condition.
