Muhammad Ali, the legendary boxer, remained true to his beliefs as he fought historic bouts in the ring and out. This celebrated fighter shared a mutual respect and admiration with another famous entertainer, Elvis Presley. In February 1973, before Muhammad Ali was to fight Joe Bugner in Las Vegas, Elvis presented his friend Ali with a bejeweled robe, reminiscent of his own famous jumpsuits, emblazoned with “The People’s Champion” on the back. The affable relationship between these two icons was captured in the offered snapshot showing the Champ with his arm around Elvis during one of their meetings. Muhammad Ali sent the photo to a fan, and has inscribed the reverse; "To Ken, Love Muhammad Ali 8-29-87 Me & Elvis." This is an incredible artifact from the friendship of two of the greats, arguably, the greatest, in their fields. The photo is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from PSA/DNA. The signed photo measures 5 by 3 1/2 (12.7 x 8.89 cm) inches and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The photo, most likely a second generation print based on the quality of the print, presents with little wear. Near Mint condition.
