On June 4, 1970 Elvis began a five-day recording session in RCA’s Studio B in Nashville that would be his most productive recording session ever, with 35 masters completed. The first single release from these Nashville sessions was “I’ve Lost You” and “The Next Step Is Love” which was released by RCA on July 14 and sold more than 500,000 copies. “I’ve Lost You,” a song that peaked at number 18 on the Cash Box charts, could be interpreted as a narrative of Elvis’ declining relationship with Priscilla at the time. “The Next Step Is Love,” which reached number 30 on the Cash Box  charts and was included in the documentary Elvis: That’s the Way It Is, in contrast, creates hope for bright future together. Offered is a record store poster advertisement promoting this single release with both the front and back picture sleeves depicted against an eye-catching bright pink background below the proclamation “ELVIS / ELVIS / ELVIS.” The back picture sleeve for this single was a promotion for the upcoming August release of Elvis’ 38th album, the four-album, 51 track, compilation boxed set entitled Worldwide 50 Gold Award Hits Vol. 1. This colorful poster measures 27 by 12 1/2 inches (68.58 x 31.75 cm), is stored folded and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The poster has bold, bright colors, with original factory folds, some minor creases and corner paper loss. Excellent to Mint condition.
