Elvis was a prolific entertainer, with 31 movies and 2 documentaries in his film catalog, which began in 1956 and continued through 1969 with Hollywood productions and then through 1972 with concert films. Throughout those years, Elvis’ talents were on display in a wide range of roles from nightclub singer in Paramount’s 1958 production of King Creole to race car driver in MGM’s 1968 film Speedway. In the offered encompassing collection we see the entire spectrum of Elvis’ acting life, from a nascent on-screen talent working on sheer emotion and charisma, to a legitimate acting force and, finally, to a comfortable superstar delivering on expectations of sex appeal and musical entertainment. This collection of Elvis movie-related promotional pieces includes:

  • King Creole promotional photo of Elvis in his Army uniform, measuring 10 by 8 inches (25.4 x 20.32 cm);
  • G.I. Blues program, measuring 6 by 9 1/2 inches (15.24 x 24.13 cm);

With the exception of the scuffing and scratches on the King Creole photo, most other pieces have just a few defects like folds and minor toning. Excellent to Mint or better overall.
