In his first Western, Elvis Presley is cast as Pacer Burton, son to a Kiowa mother and a Texan father. Elvis finds his character caught in the middle of a battle between the Kiowa and local Texan homesteaders where he hails from both sides but belongs to neither. A still of Elvis from this film was immortalized by Andy Warhol when he created his iconic artwork of the King. This 1960s Western, distributed by 20th Century Fox and co-starring Barbara Eden, reached number 12 at the box office, and critics generally consider this to be one of Elvis’ best acting performances. The offered British quad poster features a center image of a rugged, shirtless Elvis toting a shotgun, flanked by smaller inset image vignettes and bright, bold colored lettering. A portion of the poster was trimmed away on the lower right, and a studio-issued photo was put into that area. The poster measures 30 by 40 inches (76.2 x 101.6 cm) and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The poster exhibits few other defects but the full color photo that has been adhered to the poster where a large portion was trimmed away. Good condition overall.
