“A different kind of role” was an accurate description for Elvis’ portrayal of the western hero, Jess Wade, in this 1969 film distributed by National General Pictures. While still a box-office success, Charro, Elvis Presley’s only film where he did not sing on screen, was not hugely popular with his fans. Originally pitched to Clint Eastwood, this western still remains one of Elvis’ least-viewed, despite his excellent performance as Jess Wade, a former outlaw dragged into a somewhat intricate plot. Co-stars Ina Balin, Victor French and Solomon Sturges come along for the ride in Elvis’ only film for National General Pictures. This Danish poster, with similar imagery used in the American version, did its job of presenting Elvis as a serious western hero, with strong images and a bold overall design. The offered Danish poster measures 33 by 24 inches (83.82 x 60.96 cm) and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The poster has bright, intense colors and exhibits few defects except for tape at the corners. Excellent to Mint condition overall.
