“Could he change her life, could she forget her vows and follow her heart...” So reads the dramatic headline text on the offered 1969 two-tone Australian daybill for Change of Habit, Elvis Presley’s final acting role. Of course the “she” refers to the character and love interest played by none other than co-star Mary Tyler Moore, a household name in her own right after her years as Laura Petrie on The Dick Van Dyke Show. Change of Habit is the story of Dr. John Carpenter, played by Elvis, who falls for one of three Catholic nuns working in the inner city prior to taking their final vows. This blue and white, two-tone example utilizes the same group of illustrations seen on its American “insert” counterpart. The poster measures approximately 30 by 13 inches (72.2 x 33.02 cm), is nicely framed to measure 31 15/16 by 15 by 3/4 inch (81.12 x 38.1 x 1.90 cm) and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The poster has two horizontal fold lines with minor surface soiling and is in very good condition overall.
