The offered theater lobby display for the 1964 film Viva Las Vegas features the actual half sheet and four studio promotional 8x10 photos. The display would have been ordered by the theater for use with various films, but the offered example was never changed after Elvis and Ann-Margret graced its die-cut windows. The large cardboard standee features a green and yellow color scheme, with bubble leading the viewer's eye up toward the scene stills from the film. The original standee architecture is missing from the reverse, but this could be remedied with some minor professional restoration. The half sheet features a scene that captured Elvis at the peak of his powers, with all of his talents on display for the big screen audience, where he's finally paired with a star who everyone on set considered to be his almost-perfect match in intensity and larger-than-life persona: Ann-Margret. They move across the recently christened University of Nevada gymnasium stage with wild abandon as Elvis sings “C’mon Everybody.” The two work themselves up, over and around to the point where they finish in a heap on the stage floor. It captures our stars in that iconic scene, doing what they do best, and we would expect nothing less when “It’s that ‘go-go’ guy and that ‘bye-bye’ gal in the fun capital of the world!” The display measures 62 by 36 (157.48 x 91.44 cm), is stored flat and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The display is missing its original standee architecture, and also presents with some minor damage to the edges, areas of minor water damage and wrinkling along the bottom areas, especially. The photos and half sheet have been taped to the reverse of the display. Very Good to Excellent condition overall.
