While the Colonel and Vernon generally took care of business dealings so that Elvis could focus on his talents and entertainment schedule, Elvis always had his own office, with the one in Graceland just outside of his bedroom. In his Palm Springs home, he would often read or review his concert arrangements in his office at his desk. The offered angular kidney-shaped wooden desk with burl wood trim and brass handles is the very one at which Elvis sat to conduct business of his own. This executive-style slanted front desk contains four drawers, has front-facing decorative cut-out accents and sits on four pedestal legs. The desk, measuring 90 by 45 by 27 inches (228.6 x 114.3 x 68.58 cm), emanates from the 1999 Graceland Archives Auction (lot B170) and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from the 1999 Graceland Archives auction and a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The desk exhibits many scratches and dents, with signs of extensive use, but remains intact. Excellent condition.
