At the pinnacle of his career, everything surrounding Elvis was high-style decor, the latest technology or cutting-edge fashion. Elvis was a pioneer of not only music but being in step with the latest and greatest, so in 1967 when he and Priscilla moved to the two-acre, two-story home in the elegant Holmby Hills neighborhood of California, Elvis made sure to furnish his home with only the best. Amenities included a soda fountain, a pool table, a projection room and this stately Italian-style Old World Globe Bar. The bar/wine chest is hidden in a globe that depicts the Earth and opens to disclose a large bar that had plenty of room for Elvis’ favorite spirits. The globe is held on a support with beautifully turned wooden legs and an ornately decorated base. This stunning piece of clever craftsmanship comes with a four-page, yellow receipt and contract, dated May 27, 1975, listing Elvis’ belongings at 144 Monovale that were to be moved to storage in Los Angeles. This globe, measuring 40 by 32 by 32 (121.92 x 81.28 x 81.28 cm), is listed on that inventory documentation. The charming and handsome globe bar is an ideal way to toast the legacy of the King of Rock ‘n’ Roll and prince of high style. The globe bar and storage receipt emanate from the 1999 Graceland Archives Auction (lot C228) and are accompanied by a certificate of authenticity from the 1999 Graceland Archives auction and a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The globe bar presents with expected defects in the way of small scuffs and scratches to the finish in several areas, but is in working condition. Excellent condition.
