From the collection of “Rockin’” Robin Rosaaen.
Elvis had a plethora of leading ladies in his film career of more than 30 Hollywood movies, but only one starred opposite the king of rock ‘n roll more than any other, and that is Shelley Fabares. Shelley was born Michele Ann Marie Fabares in January of 1944 and is best known for her role on the Donna Reed Show as Donna’s daughter Mary Stone. Shelley started acting at the age of three and continues to be a Hollywood staple today. Shelley starred with Elvis in the 1965 film Girl Happy, then again the following year in Spinout and finally in her third movie with Elvis, the 1967 hit Clambake. Offered is a framed display that contains a black-and-white image of Shelley Fabares and Elvis from Clambake along with a cut blue ink signature of Shelley Fabares on yellow paper and a cut black ink signature of Elvis Presley on white lined paper (signed on the diagonal) matted below the photo. The framed display measures 16 by 15 3/4 inches (40.64 x 40.0 cm) and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.
The display is in Excellent condition overall.
