From the Oleander Collection

This stunning photo, measuring 14 by 11 inches (35.56 x 27.94 cm), captures Elvis on stage, blue scarf around his neck and wearing his American Eagle jumpsuit, inspecting a gift handed to him by a fan. The inscription reads “To Jim, your friend allways, Elvis Presley.” Elvis wore this most iconic Elvis jumpsuit in the famous Aloha from Hawaii televised concert and then again later in 1974 and in March and May of the following year in 1974 both on tour and in Tahoe. This full-color, framed photo originally emanates from the collection of Jim Curtin, one of the most well-known Elvis collectors and fans. Jim Curtin was a young man in the early 1970s when his adoration for Elvis led him to attend over 50 performances, accumulate a noteworthy collection and continue to pay tribute to the King after his death. This quintessential Elvis image comes with a certificate of authenticity from the 2006 sale of The Jim “E” Curtin Elvis Empire Collection that states “I do hereby attest that this memorabilia is authentic.” The reverse of the certificate reads “Lot Number: 29 1974 ELVIS PRESLEY SIGNED PHOTO.” The framed, signed and inscribed image of a smiling Elvis in concert measures 22 by 19 inches (55.88 x 48.26 cm) and is a fantastic addition to any collection. The photo is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The photo and the signature have faded slightly from light. Excellent condition.
