RCA Victor produced record catalogs, a listing of a musician’s available works, as a promotional and reference tool for music enthusiasts and general listeners to be able to easily discern the complete recording library for an artist at any given time. These listings were produced in a variety of formats including booklets, pamphlets, loose sheets, posters, cards, spiralbound books and more. These catalogs also served as convenient advertising for a musician and would be updated as frequently as necessary, which for Elvis, a very prolific musician, was often. Offered is a fantastic sampling of RCA recording catalogs for Elvis from the 1960s and ’70s that includes:

  • RCA Victor large fold-out catalog promotion with Kissin’ Cousins Soundtrack Album image featured on the front, measuring 14 by 10 inches (35.56 x 25.4 cm);
  • 1970, 1971, 1972, and 1974 full color spiralbound Complete Records and Tapes Catalogs, each measuring 3 1/2 by 9 inches (8.89 x 22.86 cm);
  • Two (2) black-and-white promotional catalog postcards, measuring 4 by 3 3/4 (10.16 x 9.52 cm) and 3 1/4 by 4 inches (8.25 x 10.16 cm) respectively;
  • Black-and-white fold out catalog brochure with interior blue ink notations and a black stamp for “The King of R 'n R EPFC / 120 Jefferson St. / Oregon City, Oregon,” measuring 8 by 3 1/4 inches (20.32 x 8.25 cm);
  • 1969 small pink and red cover Elvis’ Records & Tapes catalog (PJ-3170), full color, measuring 7 1/8 by 3 1/2 inches (18.09 x 8.89 cm);
  • Circa 1968 small blue cover Elvis’ Records catalog (PJ-2987), full color, measuring 7 1/8 by 3 1/2 inches (18.09 x 8.89 cm);
