Elvis had many loves in his life, and one important passion was firearms. He amassed an impressive collection over the years and would often carry a firearm with him, making a holster a needed accessory. A smaller-sized holster enabled Elvis to keep his firearm close without drawing unnecessary attention to the gun. Offered is a black leather herringbone-patterned belt holster for a Smith & Wesson .357 Magnum. With this holster, Elvis would have easily been able to carry his firearm. The handsome holster comes with certificate from Jimmy Velvet that states, “Elvis carried his Smith & Wesson, 357 Magnum in this holster. He often etched his initial ‘EP’ in the leather under his saddles and on occasion his holsters too, this one being one of them. This holster was made by Bucheimer # B3-52 WL.” EP initials are in fact etched into the back side of belt holder above the markings “Bucheimer B3 52 WL.” The first numbers of the Bucheimer marks indicate the model of the holster with the next set of numbers designating the size and the last letters refer to any number of available options at the time including color, lining, carving and basket stamping. Based on these markings, the holster was likely designed to house a Smith & Wesson Highway Patrolman model 19 revolver chambered for a .357 Magnum. The holster is framed in a smart-looking display with images of Elvis appearing to be every bit the cowboy astride his horse and brandishing a weapon. An attractive display perfectly suited to the most well appointed man cave. The framed display is constructed with a larger-sized wooden frame set atop a shadow box back, and the entire display measures 32 by 28 1/2 by 3 1/4 inches (81.28 x 72.39 x 8.25 cm) and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The framed display is in excellent condition overall. The holster shows impressions from a gun on the interior and is in excellent, loved condition overall. The holster can be removed from display for ease of shipping should the purchaser not wish to retain the elaborate framing.
