Boots were a stylish fashion footwear staple for both Elvis’ performance costumes and his private wardrobe, and Elvis often chose ankle-high, low-heeled type boots. The boots paired well with not only his stage jumpsuits, but also fit his high-fashion style, his passion for riding horses and his all-American charm. The offered pair of boots with stitching on the toe reminiscent of a cowboy-type design contains the interior markings “12 D 1198 35519S7 / Leather Upper Other Parts Man Made Material / Made in U.S.A.” The boots, gifted to Joe Esposito, have a side zipper and exhibit signs of use and wear. The boots come with a letter from Joe Esposito on his El Dorado Hills, CA letterhead that states in part,

“I served Elvis Aaron Presley as his personal confidante, road manager, co-best man at his wedding and in a variety of other capacities from 1960 until his death on August 16, 1977. This pair of reddish and brown low cut cowboy boots size 12 D numbered 1198 35519S7 belonged to Elvis Presley and were left at my home. These boots have been in my possession since some time in the mid 1970s. At this time I pass on this great pair of boots owned and worn by Elvis Aaron Presley.”

Elvis had a love for his horses and the ranch life and often his personal style reflected this devotion as evidenced with this fine pair of boots. The boots are accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The shoes exhibit moderate to heavy sole wear from use, and the uppers present with several small scuffs and scratches. Excellent to Mint condition.
