Elvis dominated the Las Vegas concert scene in the 1970s, after relaunching his performing career with his first engagement at the then-Las Vegas International Hotel in 1969. Those shows set a record for both attendance and gross tickets sales and paved the way for the Colonel to negotiate a 5-year deal for engagements at the hotel. With several engagements per year in Las Vegas, Elvis could often be spotted in Sin City and fans were never shy about requesting an autograph from the star. Offered is a bold, blue ink “Elvis Presley” signature on a colorful, triangular corner (likely from a Las Vegas menu) which Elvis has signed across the white and blue stripes at the bottom. The cut signature comes with a 1972 Elvis pocket calendar measuring 4 by 2 1/4 inches (10.16 x 5.71 inches). The triangular cut signature measures 3 by 2 by 3 3/4 inches (7.62 x 5.08 x 9.52 cm) around the edges and is accompanied by a letter of authenticity from Graceland Authenticated.

The blue ink signature is dark and bold against this paper corner which has surface soiling and and wear to one edge; very good condition overall. Small staple hole at the top of the calendar, otherwise in excellent condition overall.
